Building on our molecular approach to food allergens, InBio helps companies and researchers to improve commercially available products, develop relevant immunotherapies and advance critical food allergy research.
MARIA® for Foods
MARIA® provides simultaneous allergen detection of major food allergens from a single sample. It can also test for 17 of the “active ingredients” that cause allergic reactions, including the eight major food allergens regulated by FALCPA and FSMA in the US and the 14 recognized food allergens listed in EU FIC regulation 1169/2011. This opens up a wide range of applications:
- Allergen contaminant screening
- Validation of allergen control processes
- Formulation of Early Introduction Foods & immunotherapy products
- Environmental allergen detection
- Risk assessments
- Establishing risk thresholds based on actual doses and exposures
- Food Safety-reduce the risks of accidental exposure for food-allergic patients.
InBio has the ability to test multiple sample types with turnaround time of 5 business days in the US lab, and 10 business days in the UK lab, with rush options available.
