LGC Now Global Distributor of InBio Products

InBio is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with LGC Standards to be a global distributor of InBio’s purified food allergens and ELISA 2.0 immunoassays. The agreement signifies the increasing importance and relevance of food allergy research and diagnostics. As of June 2022, over 50 purified food allergens, reference materials, and over 20 ELISAs for all key regulated food allergens will be available through LGC standards.

InBio offers a comprehensive range of materials and immunoassays for the major allergens derived from the most relevant foods sources such as cow’s milk, chicken eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, shrimp, soy, and others.

InBio’s Molecular Approach to Food Allergy offers unique tools and solutions to the food industry and researchers. The approach includes:

  • focusing on the most clinically relevant allergenic proteins
  • purification and validation of those allergens
  • development of allergen specific antibodies (preferably monoclonal)
  • human IgE monoclonal antibodies to food allergens

The use of our high-quality reagents also allows us to create the industry’s most sensitive and reliable ELISA and multiplex MARIA immunoassays. These reagents and assays are well-suited for scientists in the food industry as well as diagnostic and therapeutic researchers.
