InBio @ EAACI 2026
The EAACI Annual Congress returns to Istanbul after 15 years. Back in 2011, Dr. Anna Pomés, Director of Basic Research at InBio, presented a talk on the identification of mouse IgG antibody binding sites on group 1 mite allergens by X-ray crystallography. Major progress has been made since, leading to the identification and mapping of human IgE mAb epitopes.
EAACI’s return to Istanbul this year is fitting, as Dr. Pomés will present her latest findings on the rational design of a Der p 2 hypoallergen based on immunodominant IgE epitopes. Research made real!
InBio’s other presentations cover such diverse topics as a synthetic serum for peanut allergy; molecular peanut composites for use in BAT and allergy diagnostics; distinct allergen profiles of peanut calibrants, and environmental exposure to dust mite allergens, including Der p 23.
Finally, a flashback to the AAAAI meeting in Philadelphia. The AAAAI has just released video of Dr. Martin Chapman’s plenary presentation on “Developing precision diagnostics and therapeutics in atopic diseases”, which highlights approaches that target specific allergen molecules.
Let’s celebrate progress in the allergen field together at booth H01. InBio is excited to share updates on our vast catalog of purified allergens, antibodies, ELISA 2.0 kits and human IgE mAb.
