InBio @ AAAAI 2025

Greetings,
InBio is excited to ‘start’ the year at the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology annual meeting in San Diego next week. We enjoy the camaraderie among fellow scientists and the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about advances in the allergy/immunology field.
InBio scientists and collaborators will have nine poster presentations spread throughout the meeting. For the first time, we present the molecular structures of human IgE epitopes on the major cat and dog allergens, Fel d 1 and Can f 1, together with IgE epitope repertoire of mite Der p 2 and the generation of hypoallergens.

Several posters feature recent work on peanut and egg allergens. Composites are coming! This new approach to allergy diagnostics uses a formulation of purified peanut allergens instead of allergen extract for in vitro diagnostics. We also investigated the effect of extracting peanut allergens in distilled water and Kool Aid, a commonly used oral immunotherapy (OIT) protocol among allergists in the U.S. (spoiler alert: it’s not good).
You can find a list of InBio posters here. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you at the poster sessions and at the InBio exhibit #1747.
Finally, InBio would like to express its strong support for our fellow government scientists at the NIH, the FDA, the CDC and the USDA in these challenging times.
With gratitude,
Martin Chapman, PhD
President and CEO

InBio will be at Booth 1747. Stop by to discuss the latest developments in allergens, molecular diagnostics, food allergy and indoor air quality.
